The LEA code identifies the ticketing agency in LA County that issued your traffic citation. Traffic schools are required to collect this 4-digit LEA code for all citations issued by Los Angeles County officials.
You can find the LEA code on the "courtesy notice" paperwork provided from the court; the LEA code is normally a four-digit number listed immediately following your case/citation number. Also, you can usually find the name of the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) on the top of your actual traffic ticket. However, different Law Enforcement Agencies may list their name on a different portion of the ticket.
